Abstract :
The electronic transformer is one of key equipments in the rapid developing smart substation of power systems. In this paper, the key application problems of the electronic transformer in the developing smart substation are summarized according to the application status in China. In order to guarantee the safe and reliable performance of the electronic instrument transformers in power system, on-site calibration test for electronic instrument s are needed. The on-site calibration test of the electronic instrument transformer in the first smart substation in China is given out. And the test results show that the reliability and accuracy of the electronic instrument transformer are uppermost problems in the developing smart substation.
