Abstract :
This paper will present a comparison of three structures working with nondissipative commutation. This comparison will be made using the efficiency as parameter. The soft commutation is obtained by using the following procedures: 1) with the association of the cell that provides the soft commutation switching to a Forward converter and 2) using two nondissipative snubbers for the others two structures. The proposed approaches allow building a converter with high operation frequency. A detailed analysis of the operation will be presented. The output voltage is controlled by PWM. The complete operating principles, theoretical analysis, relevant equations, simulation and experimental results will be presented.
