Abstract
This paper references traditional dependency theories and puts forward the concept of temporal multi-valued dependency (TMVD) with multiple time granularities. On this basis, temporal forth normal form based on TMVD and its lossless decomposition algorithm has realized. This algorithm is the basis of further normalization for temporal databases.
