Abstract :
In this paper, the design of a novel small size, low profile and multiband meander line dipole antenna is presented. The design analysis and characterization of the antenna is performed using the method of moments (MoM) technique. The new designed antenna has an operating frequency of 1.03 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 2.8 GHz with acceptable bandwidth which makes it useful for the new wireless applications. The radiation characteristics, VSWR and input impedance of the proposed antenna as a one of the small antennas are described and simulated using NEC-Win pro. vl .6 from nittany scientific Inc., MATLAB - v6.5 and NEC viewer.
