Abstract :
This essay sets up a virtual test method of hand grasp pressure distribution based on CAE analysis. The hand surface is partitioned, makes the grasp analysis fit the ergonomic. Degrees of freedom of hand grasp are analyzed. The motion model of hand for handle grasp is established. Geometric models of the hand muscles, bones, and joints are defined. The finite element model of hand for pressure analysis of hand grasp is established by ABAQUS. After the calculation of hand grasping an elliptic cylindrical handle, the result of pressure distribution on the hand surface is obtained. It shows that the virtual test method is effective, can get access of pressure distribution on hand surface. This test approach has good research values and prospects of application for ergonomics evaluation.
