  • Abstract
The paper describes an application of the ontology-driven KSNet-approach to evacuation operations management. The KSNet-approach was proposed earlier by the authors and could be applied in other domains, particularly to those related to countering terrorism and disaster relief operations. The paper discusses the basic elements of the KSNet-approach, including the service-oriented architecture, problem decomposition into elementary subtasks, and application of contexts for situation description. All these elements are illustrated by a case study of an evacuation operation management
