Research for significance and strategies of Yunnan´s participation in the Greater Mekong sub-regional sport cooperation

Yunnan province is a cooperation link between china and other countries which are in the Greater Mekong Sub-region. However, currently, it does not share china´s economic strength, developmental momentum and fruits of opening to the outside word with these countries effectively. While, the content and depth of cooperation will have been strengthened if enhance collaboration in sports area, which has high significance to help Yunnan to play well the role and accomplish the mission given by the State. For the purpose of leading to relevant departments and experts to place a higher value on sports cooperation. This research analyzes the present situation, infrastructures and significance in The Grater Mekong sub-regional sports cooperation of Yunnan province, also put forward the corresponding strategies and suggestion.
