Abstract :
There are many kinds of decoding algorithms for Turbo codes, any of them have merits and demerits. In this paper, We try to find a new method to choose more appropriate decoding algorithm momentarily over UMTS mobile system.We introduce a controller to achieve the purposer of adaptive decoding according to the BER of the system. It can help us to choose a more appropriate algorithm momentarily.This method can meet both efficiency and reliability of the system and can also avoid the ping-pong effect.
