Abstract
We propose a new configuration of a fiber optic voltage sensor, based on the Bi/sub 12/TiO/sub 20/ crystal. Instead of quarter wave plate we have used the glass back-reflecting prism as a phase-retarding element. By use of this prism, the good temperature stability and excellent sensitivity have been demonstrated.
