Abstract
In this paper we compare the performance of the wireless address resolution and routing protocol (WARRP) and the Internet standard optimized link state rotating (OLSR) protocol (RFC-3626) over various topologies of the HF wide area network (HFWAN). WARRP was designed specifically for HF networks, in which network diameter seldom exceeds two hops, while OLSR is a general-purpose wireless routing protocol. We explore the effects of channel Impairments and node mobility on routing overhead and network performance
