Abstract
An IP camera based on Tl´s DaVinci DSP-TMS320DM6437 is developed in this paper. An intelligent video surveillance system is established using the designed IP camera. The real-time capture of the video is implemented in the system as well as the compression coding of the video using H.264 and the transmission of the encoded video through network. In the section of network communication, the performance of DSP processor in three scenes is tested, which is convenient for developers to optimize.
