Abstract :
The authors present the transient behavior of a lossless transmission line by means of bounce or lattice charts. Resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads were considered and implemented using the C programming language to run on IBM PCs. The algorithm has been extended to be applied to lossy transmission lines where the effects of both attenuation and phase constants are considered
