Abstract
The normalized longitudinal and transverse current distributions of microstrip line on ferrite substrate are obtained using the spectral domain approach for vertical magnetization. The dispersive properties of the line, i.e. characteristic impedance and effective permeability, are accurately evaluated. The new current distributions speed up the numerical computation of the parameters at different frequencies
