Abstract
The ultra stable oscillator (USO) is intended for Phobos (satellite of Mars) orbit investigation. The USO instrument would be delivered to Phobos by a Russian spacecraft. The USO instrument would irradiate signals at two harmonically related frequencies: 33.6 GHz and 8.4 GHz. The irradiated power would be about 1 W for each channel.
