Abstract
The effect of local anesthetic on nerve conduction velocity distribution (NCVD) was investigated by using the technique developed by D. Gu. (M.Sc Thesis, Saskatoon, Univ. of Saskatchewan, p. 1-142, 1994). The results show that the change of NCVD versus time was consistent with the function of a local anesthetic. The experimental method presented here might become an approach to determine the effect of a local anesthetic or other agents causing a change in nerve conduction
