Abstract :
We describe a DISCEX III Demonstration from the DARPA Fault-Tolerant Networks Program Project "Toward Scalable Solutions for Distributed Denial of Service Attack Prevention," aimed at providing large-scale proactive/reactive protection against DDoS attacks. After giving a brief overview of the DDoS problem, we provide a synopsis of route-based packet filtering followed by an outline of the planned demo.
