  • Abstract
    An advanced multiprogrammable stimuli generator for electrical stimulation is described. It offers a wide range of flexibility and can be used as a standard module for any programmable neuromuscular prosthesis. This stimuli generator is able to generate any type of waveforms and a very versatile stimulation pattern. If delivers balanced biphasic stimulations without using coupling capacitance The new stimulation algorithms for selective and orderly stimulation can be generated. The chip has been designed for structural testability by means of scan-based test approach and uses circuit techniques to reduce power dissipation
