Abstract
The authors present the state-plane analysis of a generalized half-bridge parallel resonant converter (PRC) operating in the continuous conduction mode. It is shown that converter circuits of any order can be analyzed in terms of simple two-dimensional state-plane diagrams. The proposed approach makes use of the state variable transformation technique that was used for the analysis of second- and third-order PRC. To illustrate the analytical approach, an analysis based on the state variable transformation method for a sixth-order PRC is presented
