Abstract :
CPI´s Millitron HPA overcomes many of the limitations associated with Ka-band transmission. In the past, Ka-band HPAs have been restricted severely by either power or bandwidth limits. Consequently, these HPAs have had the potential to be adversely affected by rain fade, or simply have not had the necessary bandwidth to fulfil many applications. A Millitron HPA provides an unprecedented combination of power and bandwidth. When a linearizer is added, the HPA falls well within specifications for AM/PM conversion, intermodulation and spectral regrowth
