Abstract

This paper mainly deals with the data exchange by DDE technology between the higher engine system and site equipment. The system reads the data to Excel with real time reports, or stores data to Access database, then generates history reports in flexible way with different inquire conditions. The role of communications protocol in monitoring and other applications is briefly introduced. By using VB programming, the powerful online statistics and the drawing function of Excel, we realized the output of real-time report and the storage of historical data based on DDE technology, which met the needs of history reports for different users.
