Abstract :
In order to improve the accuracy of coarse North-finding and shorten the time of coarse North-finding, this article puts forward the double MCU system. The system divided the functions into the A/D collection function, data display and the motor control function, and each part was controlled by a single chip. It introduced the features and advantages of the double single-chip microcomputer system, hardware design, the asynchronous serial communication between the two SCMs and software process. This system improves the accuracy of fitting, also shortens the time of North-finding. The repetitive experimental of the System indicates that the system has a good stability, the time of North-finding is controlled within 5 minute, the average of the precision is 11\´25" and the standard deviation is 36".
