Abstract :
To measure weft tension of a rapier loom exactly during weft insertion, this paper reasonably configures technological parameters for the rapier loom, adopts a weft tension test system composed of MC68332, main shaft rotation angle sensor, tension sensor, data acquisition chip and display to achieve real-time measurement of dynamic weft tension, elaborates the principle and design method of this tension test system and applies this system to test and analyze tension of different wefts of TT96 rapier loom.
