Abstract :
In this paper we propose and study a two-stage algorithm for detecting rapid moving objects by analysis of a sensor data in the form of two-dimensional images. At the first stage trajectory parameters are extracted from the image using ordinary least squares technique. At the second stage this information is used to integrate the power backscattered from the target along the estimated trajectory, and decision about object presence or absence is made depending on the result of the integration.
