Abstract
In order to reduce the long commuting times for office workers, Fuji Xerox began experimenting with satellite offices. I report on changes in the work styles of office workers working in satellite offices. The changes relate to job planning, independence, computer literacy, information sharing, job task concentration, communication, productivity, skill specialization, and time freed for personal interests. Furthermore, I introduce the changes in office cost and office strategy brought about by the results of these experiments.
