Abstract
This article proposes FPGA-based method of data acquisition and processing of the energy spectrum which reduces the dead time, improving the pulse through rate effectively without dealing with pulse shaping. The measurement of γ-ray energy spectrum of 137Cs proves that the method is effective. At the same time, the advantages of FPGA in high speed data processing are reflected.
