Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of joint analog and digital modulation classification is considered. A new set of features is proposed to identify the modulation format of a received signal, based on which a binary decision tree classifier is then developed. The theoretical developments and effectiveness of the proposed classifier are confirmed through simulations.
