Abstract
To enable the evaluation of spasticity during a more functional situation and to determine the degree of which the nervous system regulates muscular mechanical properties the authors have developed a method to investigate the electromyographic and mechanical stretch reflex components during treadmill walking. Here, they report on how the stretch reflex is modulated during walking in spastic patients
