Abstract :
A power current transformer set-up is established in this paper, the magnetic circuit system is composed of magnetic materials, Terfenol-D bar and fiber bragg grating (FBG); the characteristic sizes of the materials in the set-up are optimized using finite element analysis method; the experimental study of power current signal is carried out by using coarse wavelength division multiplexer (CWDM) linear edge filter demodulation technology; the current sensitivity of the transformer system is 2.44 mV/A in the unbiased magnetic field, the relative error is less than 1.3%.
