Abstract :
Partial discharge (PD) is one of the most important factors in shortening the service life of the insulation. However, it is much difficult to detect PD signal under pulse-width modulation (PWM) voltages. In this paper, signal processing model is put forward to study the factors influencing PD signal processing under square voltages based on wavelet analysis. Slew rate is an important factor influencing interference and signal processing performance. Resolution of wavelet function is a key factor when time interval between PD is small. By calculating signal to noise ratio (SNR) at different situations, feasibility of our signal processing model can be achieved.
