Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a novel edge-based synthesis method with orthogonal polynomials model that texture synthesis techniques through the use of edge feature matching. Initially, the OP model is applied to input image and coefficient blocks of the input texture are efficiently synthesized to form the output texture and unlike other synthesized algorithms. The proposed OP model edge is identifying the zero crossings in the second directional derivatives. Apply the edge magnitude along calculate the horizontal and vertical direction. Finally, the best feature matched patch is identified for texture synthesize. From the experiments and results, it is proved that the proposed texture synthesis technique outperforms the traditional system in terms of computation time and accuracy.
