Abstract :
This paper focusses on an improved exploitation of the unique capabilities of various satellite data for land cover classification and for detecting and mapping of land cover changes using multitemporal and multitype Earth Observation (EO) data. Statistical methods based on consensus from several data sources are considered with respect to classification and integration of the multitemporal and multitype data. In the proposed method, each data source is treated separately at first. Then, the discriminatory information from the data sources is integrated
