Abstract :
In order to emerge the traditional measurement´s shortage of auto body panel, we proposed the method based on formability index. According to the above mentioned programs and the springback defect diagnosis, we developed a CAE module for the springback defect analysis based on VC++ environment, and solved the problems which the traditional sheet metal forming CAE software can not accurately predict. And then a forming process of U-beam is simulated by applying the proposed method which shows the method we proposed is accurate, and then we introduced some methods to optimize the adjustment amount of metal flow and the stamping dies for springback. Some suggestions are given by investigating the adjustment amount and modification of the stamping die.
