  • Abstract
    This paper describes the forest fire detection with 1.6 micro meter band which has boarded NOAA-15 satellite in AVHRR channel 3A. The target area was Far East Region of Russia where many forest fires occurred in 1998. Channel 3A shows the superiority for the burning area
