Abstract :
The Energy Scheduling and Accounting (ESA) facility of the new SCADA/AGC system which has recently been installed and commissioned at the Public Utility District of Grant County in Ephrata, Washington, is described. The ESA is based on the concept of accounts which represent hourly schedules for seven future days and actual historical values for 49 previous days. There are extensive facilities for defining calculations such as subtotals within an account and for calculated accounts based on other accounts. The CRT displays support easy scrolling forward and backward in time and across groups of accounts
