Abstract :
The precision image registration is not only one of the key points in the integrative analysis of remotely sensed data, which may acquired from different sensors or at different times; but also a bottleneck, including SAR interferometry and radargrammetry. For example, it is necessary to keep the accuracy less than 1/10 pixel for SLC data registration in repeat-track or differential INSAR occasion. In this paper, an automatic approach of multi-stage matching is presented. In the primary matching, the distinct points are selected and their conjugation points are determined automatically based on normalized correlation coefficient algorithm, which tolerates any linear radiometric relationship between the images. Then the global matching procedure based on the bridge mode and probability relaxation technique is used to ensure the reliability of the matching result. Finally the one image is relatively rectified to another according to the conjugation point-pairs. The result reveals the potential of the presented automatic strategy
