Abstract :
The proposed genetic algorithm computes a selection of the number of linguistic properties to be used by a fuzzy relational neural network (Reyes, 1994), the type of membership function used to calculate the linguistic features, the method to calculate the output of the classifier and the learning rate. The model has been tested with different data sets to classify infant crying. Some results of the experiments are shown
