Constructing web plat for universities faculty human resources training

Faculties are the core human resources(HR) to universities, and training faculties can realize HR maintenance and add value to them. This paper explores the theory foundation of training in higher education, concerning competency theory, lifelong learning theory, and competency-based theory. It emphasizes the necessity and significance of constructing web plat for faculty training. Its function is designed as four parts developed by Web 2.0 with features of being personalized and open to all, which are information service, the resources sharing, interaction and management innovation.
