  • Abstract
    A level-2 late energy trigger (LET) was built to select events from the E864 experiment at the AGS in which a heavy particle is detected in a hadronic calorimeter with deposited energy and TOF exceeding preset values. Details of LET hardware and software design are given along with performance results
