Abstract :
A new family of stable, causal and perfect reconstruction IIR maximally-decimated parallel uniform DFT filter banks (DFT FB) is presented. Two possible realisations exhibiting a simple and a massively parallel and modular processing structure suitable for a VLSI implementation are shown. In addition, some multipliers in the filters (both the analysis and synthesis) could be made a power or sum of powers of 2, in particular in feedback loops, resulting in a good sensitivity behaviour. Some design examples are provided
