Abstract :
We present results of an experiment on EHD instability of the interface between superposed conducting and insulating liquids. By adding a salt promoting an injection from the metallic electrode into the insulating liquid, we show that this injection results in a marked decrease of the interfacial instability voltage. Such injection phenomena could explain some previously observed discrepancies between theory and experiment
