Using narrow band reflectance spectra an evaluation of damaged wheat crop can be made. The following spectral parameters can be used to detect the rust damaged wheat canopies: the quantity of the first derivative reflectance maxima; the maxima location in spectrum; the ratio of derivatives in maxima
