  • Abstract
    Because of the complication of industrial process control, the problem of time-delay becomes more and more serious. Using the idea of prediction, this problem is analyzed in the method of dynamic matrix control (DMC) on the model of subsystems, and the algorithm of time-delay compensation DMC (TDCDMC) is introduced to diminish the affection of it. Since the control signal can not follow the input transformation in time, the compensation variable and the transition variable are introduced to modulate the prediction control signal and the delay control signal on line to make the transition process complete rapidly. Also the relationships among the subsystems are well concerned. This algorithm is suitable for those delay systems which fluctuate frequently. The instance results show that the delay is well compensated, the stability and the speediness are guaranteed.
