Abstract
Sensor network is receiving considerable attention as one of the key technologies to keep track of the parameters in the industrial field. Wireless sensor networks integrate sensor technology, embedded technology, and distributed information processing and network communication. The nodes of WSN serve the functions of perceiving and routing. Power consumption is the key factor affecting the longevity of nodes in practice. In this paper, we analyzed the power consumption of nodes in the network. Some methods are given in terms of hardware and software to reduce the sensor power consumption. A low power wireless sensor network nodes in the lumber drying kiln is designed and tested. Results show that this method is adaptive, feasible and prior to the other methods.
