Abstract :
The effects of differently polarized microwaves (f=35 GHz, E = 30 muW/cm2, irradiation time 10 s) on human buccal epithelium cells were investigated. The stainability of cells with indigo carmine (5 mM) or trypan blue (0.5 %) after 5 min of staining was investigated. Irradiation induced decrease of percentage of unstained cells. As a rule the left polarized radiation induced more expressed effect than right polarized radiation and linearly polarized radiation induced the most effect.
