  • Abstract
    In this paper, the development of solar-pumped laser is narrated, the solar concentrator and the pump mode are introduced. Meanwhile, laser characteristic of the Cr/Nd: YAG ceramic materials is analyzed. It is proved that it is high conversion efficiency to pump Cr/Nd: YAG ceramic with Fresnel lens and conical cavity systems, by way of which solar-pumped laser has vast researched potential in the future.
