Abstract :
Advanced vehicle control functions are a necessity for intelligent vehicle highway systems. The authors present an outline of a set of vision functions that can deliver the required capabilities, and survey a number of algorithms developed at the University of Massachusetts that can provide these functions. Furthermore, highlights and salient results of three motion analysis, model matching and pose estimation algorithms are presented
