Abstract :
The information service system called Forest-UA is created for the territory of Ukraine. The Forest-UA system is a wood segment of the GEOUA national program. The following are developed: a regional receiving station for the satellite information; a distributed information system based on GRID technologies and communication systems; an interdepartmental scientific and industrial educational center; a database of space information suppliers; a database of Forest-UA production consumers. Primary goals of the Forest-UA are listed. On the primary goals great volume of research works has been carried out. The distributed geo-information system of woods in the Ukraine is created. The system of maintenance of remote supervision of woods and adjoining territories by the basic data received from ranges of various hierarchical levels - calibration, reference, thematic and permanent ranges is created and operates universal range of frequency. The full system of range service of Forest-UA is developed. Systems of supply with information of national and international programs of safety, rational wildlife management, stable development and acceptance of administrative decisions on the basis of wide use of data remote sensing, in particular, program Forest-UA, are the important means of the productive organization of the information and commercial remote sensing.
