Abstract :
Material can produce acoustic emission signal in the process of fractured, so in nondestructive testing field, detection and analysis acoustic emission signal is very important. Due to the different physical properties, different materials in fracture can produce different acoustic emission signal. Fiber-optic acoustic emission sensor in the acoustic emission (AE) signal detection have wide application prospect. In this paper, the optical fiber Sagnac interferometer sensor test different acoustic emission signal of materials as breaking process. Through the fast Fourier transform the spectrum analysis, the method can find the same kind of material of fracture acoustic emission signal characteristics. This paper provides a new assessment and monitoring methods for the health level of the material structure.
