Abstract :
Grid-oriented middleware implements basic operations of the grid infrastructure such as coordination of the access to resources, authentication, discovery resources, and quality of service management. However, building a grid-oriented middleware is a complex task due to the complexity of the aforementioned operations, the inherent heterogeneity of grid computing environments and the large number of user/devices that use the grid. In this context, we present a Product Line Architecture (PLA),named Uba, for facilitating the development of grid oriented middleware systems. In order to validate the proposed PLA, it is instantiated in the construction of a middleware for grid computing.
