Abstract :
Microwave radiometers provide measurements of wind speed over the ocean surface and water vapor in the atmosphere. These values are modulated by internal waves in the troposphere and hence microwave radiometric data could be used to study such phenomena. Atmospheric internal waves were registered in a number of experiments performed at Space Research Institute in the North-West Pacific from aircraft AN-12
